More Than $100K Raised For Former OCUL Employee Who Died, Left Young Family Behind

COLUMBUS, Ohio–The Ohio Credit Union League is reporting more than $100,000 has been raised for the family of a 34-year-old employee who recently died.

As CUToday.info reported here, Adam Kearns, VP of business development for the Ohio league, died and is survived by his wife, Kathleen, and two young children, Rhett and Cole, as well as other family members.

In lieu of flowers the family asked for donations to a Go Fund Me Account set up in his memory by the league, with a goal of raising $100,000.

On Twitter the Ohio league has announced, “We are speechless and in awe of YOU, the Credit Union Movement. The combination of a very special person and a very special Movement has resulted in something amazing from something terrible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
