More Speakers Added to NAFCU’s Congressional Caucus

WASHINGTON—More speakers have been added to NAFCU's Congressional Caucus, which is two weeks away.

Added to the lineup:

  • Rep. Sean Duffy, who serves on the House Financial Services Committee and is ranking member of the Subcommittee on Housing, Community Development and Insurance. NAFCU said it has supported Duffy's efforts to improve the appraisal process for Federal Housing Administration-backed mortgages and to ensure regulators issue guidance in a timely manner.
  • Brian Montgomery, who is the active Deputy Secretary and the Federal Housing Commissioner for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) where he has served since September 2017.
  • Jason Cabel Roe, who is a political and communications strategist and served as Marco Rubio's spokesperson for his 2016 presidential campaign. At Caucus, Roe will provide political insights to the current political environment as well as the upcoming 2020 presidential election, NAFCU said.
  • Michelle Christian is the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) Mid-Atlantic regional administrator.
