MADISON, Wis.—The Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions is now offering a monthly giving option to Champion supporters who want to “change the world through credit unions and the cooperative model.”
According to the Foundation, which is the international development and charitable arm of the World Council for Credit Unions, the monthly giving program is designed to give the Worldwide Foundation the ability to reach out to individuals and organizations that want to spread their generosity out in smaller installments.
“It is very convenient to make charitable giving a part of your monthly budget by setting up a recurring amount to be drawn from your credit card or bank account,” said Mike Reuter, executive director of the Worldwide Foundation of Credit Unions. “Our monthly giving program makes that easy. We’ll also make sure you get one tax receipt at year’s end that details each monthly donation—making it easier to keep tabs on your giving.”
The organization said monthly giving will provide the Worldwide Foundation with a stable, recurring flow of donations, and add another revenue stream to complement its annual appeal and sponsorship programs.

To become a monthly giving Champion:
- Visit doglobalgood.org/give
- Select which fund or program to support with the monthly amount
- Check the "Make This a Monthly Donation" box
- Fill out contact and payment info
- Click the "Support WF" button
