GREAT FALLS, Mont.–Montana Federal Credit Union has announced a slight tweak in its name, as well as a new logo. Both were unveiled at the $247-million CU’s annual meeting.
Montana FCU will now operate as Montana Credit Union, although it is maintaining its federal charter.
The CU has also introduced Personal Teller Machines (PTMs) at its branches, which will offer the services of ATMs as well as face-to-face communication with representatives via a video screen.
“It’s still our same old tellers,” Marketing VP Becky Timmons told local media. “You’ll just drive up and tap to log in and talk to the same tellers you’ve worked with in our branch, but they’ll be housed out of one location and that really offers us a lot more flexibility in hours, staffing, so we can kind of offer longer service hours in more locations on Saturdays, too.”
Montana Credit Union said it will introduce a new website and mobile app within the coming weeks.
The credit union has approximately 22,000 members.
