NEW YORK—A new report shows mobile shoppers are browsing more than before with a 61% increase over 2017.
Shoppers are also making 108% more purchases using apps than by mobile web late last year, according to the Button 2019 Mobile Commerce Report.
Shoppers were making more repeat purchases and spending more in-app than on mobile web, said ZD Net in its analysis.
Compared to the rest of 2018, app installs rose by 108% in December, demonstrating willingness among shoppers to download new apps. Consumers spent 121% more in 2018 compared to the same period in 2017, stated ZD Net.
