SAN DIEGO, Calif.–Mitek has enhanced mobile photo capture capability for its Mobile Photo Account Opening solution, resulting in increases of mobile form completion rates of 30%-50% for new accounts, credit card applications and more, the company said.
Mitek said Mobile Web optimizes photo capture of driver’s licenses and other IDs through mobile browsers. The addition of the capability to Mitek’s Mobile Photo Account Opening Suite speeds mobile enrollment process and improves forms completion rates, the company stated in a release.
Mitek cited Comscore data showing mobile devices accounted for 55% of Internet usage in the United States in January 2014.
“For this reason, digital strategists and marketers need to create a superior mobile web user experience to win new customers and drive new revenue,” Mitek stated. The data accuracy of photo pre-fill significantly improves the ability of back-end systems to apply business rules for real-time decisioning, increasing the number of new accounts opened and applications approved, Mitek explained.
