SAN DIEGO–Mission Federal Credit Union has named a new president and CEO to succeed the retiring Debra Schwartz.
The $6-billion credit union has named Doug Wright to lead the organization. Wright currently serves as CFO.
Prior to joining Mission Federal, Wright was CFO at Silvergate Bank, and prior to that, at Intermountain Community Bancorp.
He has also been an adjunct professor with Whitworth University in Spokane, Wash.
As CUToday.info reported here, Debra Schwartz plans to retire as CEO on March 1 after nearly 17 years with the credit union.
Mission FCU has more than 300,000 members.
