LANSING, Mich.–Credit unions in Michigan helped to raise $95,000 for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital as part of the “Turn Up the Miracles” Radiothon held by 104.3 WOMC.
The funds are to benefit pediatric patients of Beaumont Children’s Hospital and CMN.
Michigan Credit Union league CEO Patty Corkery called in during the radiothon to announce a surprise donation from the Michigan credit union community of nearly $95,000 to benefit CMN Hospitals. CO-OP Miracle Match, which is managed by Co-op Financial Services, provided $10,000 of the total donation, the league reported.
During the call, Corkery said the partnership between CMN Hospitals and the Michigan credit union community dates back to 1998, and she further detailed how all of the money was raised and why MCUL and member credit unions have chosen CMN Hospitals as a target cause.
Corkery’s call to the radiothon can be heard here.
