PAINTED POST, N.Y.–Mergers have been announced in New York and Nebraska.
First Heritage Federal Credit Union has announced plans to merge in Hornell Erie Federal Credit Union.
The $4.4-million Hornell Erie FCU currently serves those who live, work, attend school, or worship in Steuben, Livingston, or Allegany counties in New York. “Currently limited to savings accounts, personal loans and vehicle loans, Hornell Erie FCU members will now have access to First Heritage’s full array of services, including high-yield checking accounts, online banking services, and loans, to meet all of their home buying needs,” First Heritage said in a statement. “Hornell Erie FCU members will also be able to take advantage of the newly opened First Heritage Hornell branch located at 167 Seneca Street.
“We find it more challenging than ever to be able to provide our members with the latest banking technologies,” said HEFCU General Manager Marty Pieko. “We are confident that this merger with First Heritage will provide the best products and services for our members. We are looking forward to the day we can officially declare that we are now a part of First Heritage Federal Credit Union.
