GREEN BAY, Wis.–When the former office of Northern Paper Mills CU opens for business today it will do so as Fox Communities Credit Union.
The two CUs announced they completed a merger over the weekend. The new branch will bring to 23 the number of locations Fox Communities CU offers its members. All NPMCU employees are now employees of FCCU.
“Northern Paper Mills Credit Union has always kept the interest of our members in the forefront of our minds. The decision to partner with Fox Communities Credit Union came with much thought and care for our members and staff,” said Maureen Bartley, former president of NPMCU says. “They provide exceptional member service with a family-like culture, like us. This merger allows our members additional convenience by providing 10 locations in the Green Bay area, and more in surrounding communities.”
Added Fox Communities Credit Union President Chris Allen, “Fox is excited to welcome the members of Northern Paper Mills Credit Union. Both credit unions share a deep understanding of our commitment to members and the communities we serve. New to the members at NPMCU will be an auto buying program, business lending program, financial planning and even a first-time home buying program. This partnership shows how credit unions continue to work together to improve and expand product and service offerings for all members.”
With the merger, the $2-billion Fox Communities CU has more than 430 employees and more than 107,000 members.
