LAS VEGAS—Several members of One Nevada CU had money stolen from their accounts from an ATM skimming attack.
13 Action News spoke with two members of One Nevada who said they received messages from the CU about suspicious activity over the weekend. "We went to get some money out to buy a new refrigerator and there is no money in there," Kathleen Sao told the news station.
A spokesperson for One Nevada confirmed a “small number” of members, “a couple hundred at most,” were victims of card skimmers, the news station stated.
One Nevada has contacted impacted members to let them know about the problem. Members were given the option of changing their PIN or getting a new card. One Nevada is refunding any money that was taken by the skimmers, 13 Action News said.
