Matanuska Valley FCU Names Ritchie CEO

PALMER, Alaska—The $935-million Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union has named Chad Ritchie CEO, the CU announced.

Ritchie follows Ed Gravley, who has served as the organization’s CEO since 2018.

“I am honored to have been selected as the next president and CEO of MVFCU. I look forward to joining the current team and what we can accomplish together for the membership,” Ritchie said

Most recently, Ritchie served as chief information officer at $1.4-billion Ventura County Credit Union in California, where he headed significant digital transformation initiatives and enhanced organizational capabilities. Before that, he spent five years as chief operating officer and chief information officer at Solarity Credit Union in Washington.

“We are excited to welcome Chad to the Matanuska Valley family,” said Karen Foster, MVFCU board chair. “His extensive experience in leading organizational growth and transformation is well-aligned with the credit union’s goals and vision for the future.”
