Mastercard In Pilot With Retailer For New 360-Degree Online Shopping Experience

SANTA MONICA, Calif.—As credit unions upgrade their technology to keep up with the fast-changing pace of online delivery, one major clothing retailer is dramatically

stepping up its online shopping experience.

A new immersive commerce concept from Fred Segal, through a partnership with Mastercard and Next Retail Concept, gives consumers the experience of shopping in one of its physical stores when they browse online, reported said ClickZ.

The new the website is equipped with 360-degree video that allows shoppers to "walk around," click on an item they find appealing, learn more about items and add then add them to their cart.
“The idea is for you to feel like you're in a real store as you shop online,” said ClickZ.

As CUToday.info previously reported, Walmart is reported to be developing a virtual shopping application that allows consumers to put on VR glasses and work their way through a digital Walmart store right in their homes.
