Massachusetts CU Names A New CEO

Michelle Dwyer

GREENFIELD, Mass. — Franklin First FCU has named Michelle Dwyer as its new CEO/president, effective July 1.

Dwyer, who has been with the credit union since 2007, replaces retiring CEO/President Martha Richardson who is leaving Franklin First after 32 years of service.

“I am retiring with confidence knowing our team will be led by an energetic, very capable new CEO,” said Richardson. “I know Michelle will continue the credit union’s mission of serving our membership with friendliness and respect.”

Dwyer began at Franklin First in March, 2007 as a teller, was promoted to lead teller, and then to accounting specialist in March, 2013. Dwyer received a Credit Union Rising Star award in 2012 and earned a designation as a Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) from CUNA and the University of Wisconsin School of Business in 2013. She received a designation as a Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) from CUNA in 2014.
