WASHINGTON—Mary Dunn, well-known to many in credit unions for her long career at CUNA, is leaving the trade group effective April 3.
Dunn, CUNA’s deputy chief advocacy officer and senior counsel, has been with CUNA for 27 years and has been involved with most legislative, policy and legal issues related to credit unions during that time. Rich Meade, CUNA’s COO and chief of staff, said that Dunn will continue to assist CUNA as it fills out its advocacy team. “Her expertise, commitment to excellence and determination on behalf of credit unions are well known and we wish her all the best as she pursues new opportunities,” said Meade in a statement to CUNA staff. Prior to joining CUNA, Dunn was on the staff at NAFCU, and prior to that on the staff of the U.S. League of Savings Institutions.
