WILKES BARRE, Penn.–Gayle Maisano, president and CEO of the $64-million Corner Post FCU, is retiring as of December 31 after 31 years at the credit union.
Maisano began with the credit union as a part-time teller before being promoted to a loan clerk and then loan officer. According to the Pennsylvania CU Association, Maisano during her career guided the credit union through a major renovation, a new charter, and, recently, a merger.
Carole Fischer has been named to succeed Maisano as CEO. Fischer has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, including the past 15 years as CEO of PGW Employees FCU.
Corner Post FCU has 4,800 members.
