WESTBROOK, Maine–Maine’s credit unions have created a new “Member Moment” video that seeks to describe what a credit union is and how banking with a credit union can help consumers take better control of their money.
“In addition to highlighting some of the benefits of belonging to a credit union, like great rates and innovative technologies, the video lets viewers know that joining a credit union is easy and convenient,” stated the Maine Credit Union League.
The league added that the Member Moments, formerly known as “Own It Moments,” are short, informative videos that help members maximize the benefits of belonging to a credit union by offering insightful financial tips or highlighting products and services.
The league is urging the state’s credit unions should feel free to share “Member Moment” videos on their social media feeds.
