WESTBROOK, Maine–Maine’s credit unions have launched a new ad as part of their statewide awareness campaign.
Featured in the newest commercial is Will Savage of Acorn Engineering. In the ad, Savage shares his business story and highlights the critical support he receives from his local credit union. He credits this assistance as part of his company’s success, the Maine Credit Union League stated.
The ads will be aired on television in the Portland, Bangor, and Presque Isle markets and on digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Spotify, according to the league.
“As a child, you just couldn’t keep me out of the puddles. I couldn’t wait to build a dam and see how the water broke through the dam. That’s where the early seed, the acorn, was essentially planted. I always knew I wanted to go out on my own. When we got started we had nothing in the bank, we were cash poor, I was just a one-man show. I would recommend to anyone to use a local credit union,” said Savage. “…The support of my credit union, the banking advice that you need, you can call them and they are there for you. That’s tremendous.”
