DETROIT — MSU Federal Credit Union said it has become a presenting sponsor for the Detroit Free Press Marathon. The deal is to run for three years, with the credit union saying it builds on the successful collaboration from the previous year.
“The partnership highlights MSUFCU's commitment to the Detroit community and its support for one of the city's most iconic sporting events,” MSUFCU said. “The Detroit Free Press Marathon, known for its unique international course, will continue to benefit from the enhanced visibility and support provided by MSUFCU.”
Added MSUFCU President and CEO April Clobes, “At MSUFCU, we believe in supporting initiatives that enrich our members and the communities we serve. The Detroit Free Press Marathon is a celebration of the spirit of Detroit and the State of Michigan. The Detroit Free Press Marathon, set to take place on Oct. 18-20, has been called North America’s largest International road race, and features a course crossing international borders into Windsor, Ontario, Canada and back in Detroit.
