NATIONAL HARBOR, Mich.–In response to what it said is a radical change in the ways credit unions do business due to technology, the MD|DC Credit Union Association hosted an inaugural Tech Summit.

The two-day event was held at the MGM National Harbor in Maryland, where the association said Industry influencers and thought leaders came together to explore the challenges and opportunities facing credit unions.

Among those challenges and opportunities:

  • New business models and organizational transformation
  • Integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning and cloud computing
  • The role of blockchain or distributed ledger technology in a digital strategy
