HARAHAN, Louisiana–The Louisiana Credit Union League said it has partnered with North Carolina-based Zogo, the financial education company, to reduce its app setup fee to $0 for all credit unions in the state.
In addition, three other CUs have signed on with the solution.
Since launching three months ago, Zogo said its flagship product – a gamified, incentive-embedded financial literacy app – is now being utilized by more than two-dozen credit unions of all sizes.
“Many of the current financial literacy programs for young adults have been developed by adults and are not very engaging,” says Zogo CEO Bolun Li. “As part of the Gen-Z group, we truly care about our generation’s future and we know how to get the attention of this demographic.”
“When we learned of Zogo, we knew this was something that needed to be available for all Louisiana credit unions,” added LCUL Senior Vice President of Member Engagement Lacey H. Weaver. “Much like credit unions, the team behind Zogo has a mission. Zogo has the unique ability to engage a critical generation while positioning financial education in a modern approach. It is our goal to bring this gamification platform to Louisiana.”
In addition, Zogo said it has also signed as new clients:
- Isabella Community Credit Union in Mt. Pleasant, Mich.
- University of Kentucky Credit Union in Lexington
- Mobility Credit Union in Irving, Texas
