Logo Introduced For 2016 CU Lunch Local Program

ANN ARBOR, Mich.–Michigan Business Connection (MBC) has introduced the new logo for the fifth annual CU Lunch Local program, scheduled for Oct. 18, 2016 in conjunction with international Credit Union Week.

CU Lunch Local shows support in local communities by dedicating dollars spent that day to local restaurants. Credit unions designate a specific location or have food catered in, invite their members to do the same and celebrate their events by posting images online with the hashtag #culunchlocal via social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Started in Michigan in 2012 by MBC, CU Lunch Local has grown to more than 13 states, including Michigan, Florida, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Nebraska, Delaware, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Virginia and Illinois during previous years.

MBC said CU Lunch Local events have generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales in participating communities since its inception.
