HOLLYWOOD, Calif. –First Entertainment Credit Union has named a new president and CEO.
The $2-billion credit union has selected Stephen Owen to lead the organization effective May 9.
Previously, Owen has held executive positions at First Tech Federal Credit Union, OnPoint Community Credit Union, and Bank of America, where First Entertainment said he was responsible for a wide range of duties including sales, service, marketing, and operational management for nearly 40 retail branches across several states and Puerto Rico.
The credit union described Owen as a “skilled communicator and respected leader whose banking experience will successfully position First Entertainment’s legacy for years to come.”

First Entertainment has nine branches in Los Angeles County, including the Warner Bros., Sony, and Paramount studio locations, more than 220 employees, and nearly 90,000 members.
