CHICAGO–The Global Women’s Leadership Network announced there is less than one week remaining for applications to attend its Executive Readiness Summit here.
The GWLN said credit union women working in mid- to high-tiered positions are being invited to participate in the “intimate two-day workshop designed to inspire new insights and action.”
The event is scheduled for Nov. 13-15 at the Fairmont Hotel Millennium Park in Chicago.
“The Executive Readiness Summit is a dynamic, experiential, and inspiring workshop designed specifically for U.S. credit union women working in mid to high-level positions,” the organization said. “This unique platform will focus on building critical competencies, networking, and expanding knowledge in order to support and equip executive-track women in their career journey and inspire new insights and action.”
It added that many credit unions have succession planning or targeted leadership strategies for senior-executive management, but that few focus on developing mid-tier ranks where people often need information and the most support.
