Less Than 1 Week Remaining to Submit CDFI, NACA Program Grant Requests

WASHINGTON–Credit unions now have less than a week to apply for grants from the 2022 Community Development Financial Institutions Program.

The deadline for online submission of the SF-424 through Grants.gov for this year’s CDFI Program and NACA Program funding rounds is March 14, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET.

Applicants must also have created an Awards Management Information System (AMIS) account and entered their EIN and DUNS numbers in AMIS by March 14, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET, according to the Treasury Department.

In addition, March 14, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET is also the deadline for applicants that meet the SECA requirements, but wish to apply for a Core-FA award that is greater than $700,000, to request the creation of a Core-FA Application via an Awards Management Information System (AMIS) Service Request.

The deadline for online submission of the rest of the application materials through the CDFI Fund’s Awards Management Information System (AMIS) is April 12, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET, Treasury said.

Upcoming Webinars 

The CDFI Fund will host a Matching Funds Webinar Workshop for CDFI Program Financial Assistance applicants on March 22. The CDFI Fund will also host webinars on March 30 and March 31 to answer applicant questions about the CDFI Program and NACA Program. Access information for the webinars is available on the CDFI Fund’s website. Advance registration is not required to participate.

Updated Guidance

Treasury said all of the guidance, application materials, and webinar information for the FY 2022 application round are available on the CDFI Fund’s website at www.cdfifund.gov/cdfi and www.cdfifund.gov/native.
