‘Excited to Move Forward’
“We’re excited to move forward together as one entity to provide enhanced value to our member credit unions in Alabama, Florida and Georgia in both association services and business services in the years ahead,” Mercer said. “Our combined staff is focused on ways to assist credit unions in achieving their goals and finding ways to exceed their members’ expectations.”
The organizations added “employees working under the new consolidated league and business services structure will be laser focused on their areas of expertise and will be working to provide service and value to all member/client credit unions in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.”
“A year ago, we came into this process asking how we could make our two organizations better together than we were apart. We wanted to know if we could achieve one-plus-one to create three,” La Pine said. “Now, we’ve successfully created that value equation. We have emerged as an enhanced LSCU & Affiliates, prepared to address the unique needs of our member/client credit unions from all three states and beyond.”
The combined assets of CUs under the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates’ umbrella is $118.63 billion, representing more than 10.1 million members.
