BREWER, Maine–When will the giant pile of snow ever melt?
Brewer FCU is again asking that question as part of a fundraiser for Maine’s Credit Unions’ Campaign to End Hunger. For $1, anyone can enter the contest to guess the date the small mountain of snow in the parking lot at its North Main Street branch will melt as part of its “Great Snowbank Meltdown” promotion. The winner is being offered a $50 gift card.
David Stanhope, assistant VP with BFCU, told local WABI-TV the fundraiser “helps us get through the end of the winter.”
