HOWELL, Mich.–Lake Trust Credit Union has purchased the naming rights to an athletic facility being built by Cleary University here.
The 150,000-square-foot complex will be called Lake Trust Credit Union Stadium when it opens next fall on the school's campus, according to Crain’s Detroit Business.
Financial terms of the contract, which runs through 2028, were not disclosed. The deal includes stadium merchandising, signage and field imagery, the university said in a statement.
The university said it will build the $2.5 million athletic complex to support its six varsity sports: baseball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's lacrosse and softball.
The stadium will seat more than 300 people and offers flexibility for events in addition to sports. The new stadium is designed to serve as the center of the campus. Cleary University said it plans to spend nearly $12 million to build an athletic complex and additional student housing.
