GRAND BLANC, Mich.–Located just behind its main branch here, Dort Federal Credit Union has opened a new, three-story administrative building.
The nearly 40,000-square-foot facility was designed and built by La Macchia Group.
After outgrowing their outdated facility in Flint, Dort felt it was time to relocate and expand into a new building; one that would allow room for future growth and provide an extensive training center for their employees. Several training rooms are located throughout the space as well as a mock-teller line for on-the-spot training. To create an open work environment, large windows were implemented throughout the levels that overlook the scenic views. A large retaining wall was designed to allow for full exposure of the lower level, which is home to the spacious employee lounge and outdoor patio.
