LACROSSE, Wis.—La Crosse Area Postal Credit Union’s members have voted to merge with Co-op Credit Union effective March 31. The merger has already been approved by regulators.
“We are pleased that La Crosse Area Postal Credit Union chose us as a consolidation partner,” said Eric Chrisinger, CCU president and CEO, in a statement. “We feel it’s a good fit geographically and a good match for two credit unions that reflect the credit union philosophy of ‘People Helping People.’
The $3.5-million La Crosse Postal has 600 members. The $274-million Co-op Credit Union has 16,000 members.
