LSCU to Host Southeast Leadership Development Conference Virtual Experience

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.–The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU) will host the Southeast Leadership Development Conference Virtual Experience (SLDC), with an objective of helping “engage and energize credit union leaders during this time of uncertainty.”

The event is scheduled for Nov. 5-6.

“We know this year has been one filled with challenge for our member credit unions,” said Maureen Bock, senior director of education at LSCU. “In many cases, the leaders of these institutions have barely had a chance to catch their breath since the pandemic spread to our three-state footprint (Florida, Georgia, Alabama) in March. SLDC is a chance for them to take a step back, see the bigger picture and become inspired.”

Through five live speakers and five on-demand sessions, the LSCU said SLDC attendees will learn about timely and thought-provoking topics including becoming an inclusive leader, finding the keys to reaching Gen Z and identifying necessary risk for organizational success.

What’s Included

The virtual event will include:

  • Four dedicated exhibit hall hours
  • Opportunities to earn CPE credits for live sessions
  • Networking options, including chatting with peers and exhibitors
  • Virtual cocktails and BINGO after-hours event
  • Prizes

The League of Southeastern Credit Union said registration to SLDC is open to CEOs, C-Suite executives, leadership, young professionals and volunteers of credit unions affiliated with LSCU.
