GLENDALE, Calif. – Los Angeles Federal Credit Union has introduced a special “Triple Your Savings” share savings certificate that has an 3.33% APY and a 33-month term.
The certificate can be opened with a balance of $500 to $250,000 through Nov. 30, and must represent new money, meaning the funds must be on deposit in an LAFCU account at least 30 days prior to the date the certificate is opened.
LAFCU said that when the certificate matures, it automatically renews for another 33-month term at the rate in effect at maturity for the credit union’s regular 24 to 35-month share savings certificate.
