MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif.—Kinecta Federal Credit Union is now offering members a free home maintenance app through Househappy to help manage their home maintenance needs. Househappytrax provides new and existing homeowners with convenient, online access to home maintenance management, according to the credit union.
Whether accessed through a computer desktop or mobile device, the service offers home management tools such as, home improvement trackers, service reminders, document and photo storage, a maintenance calendar, and more, Kinecta explained.
“Househappytrax is a free service and anyone can enroll conveniently on kinecta.org. As an added plus, Kinecta offers Househappytraxplus – valued at $99, free of charge, to borrowers who finance their home purchase with Kinecta in California. This premium version includes a personal home inspection to develop an initial data collection and maintenance plan,” the CU stated, noting that the service is not traditionally offered by mortgage lenders. “It is an additional service to the homeowner and delivers ease, value and reassurance in one’s home investment and protection.”
“I’m excited about our new partnership with Househappy,” said John Rissling, director, retail residential mortgage at Kinecta in a statement. “Providing our members and anyone who enrolls online, access to their robust, online application will be a value-added benefit for new and existing homeowners.”
Kinecta noted that it offers members a “complete home-buying experience from start to finish. With the already established service Kinecta provides, HomeAdvantage, which makes the home search and buying process manageable through education workshops and loan financing, Househappytrax goes beyond the home-buying process by assisting homeowners long after their purchase.”
