Keith Burton, Long-Time CEO at Revity Credit Union, Announces Plans to Retire

GRANITE CITY, Ill.–Keith Burton, who has served Revity Credit Union for 38 years, has announced he will retire as president/CEO by year-end.

Burton’s tenure at the $455-million credit union has included various roles prior to becoming CEO, including serving as executive vice president, assistant manager, lending manager, and collections manager. He received the Illinois CU League Hall of Fame Leadership Award in 2022, currently serves on the Governor’s Board of Advisors for Credit Unions, and has volunteered for many civic and community groups and projects over the years.

“We’d like to recognize Keith’s service and dedication to always putting Revity’s members first. As our CEO since 2013, he’s been responsible for all aspects of the credit union’s operations and financial performance, ushering in a new era of growth while developing innovative solutions to help us serve as a beacon for continuous revitalization,” said Jim Devine, search committee chair.

In a statement, the credit union said the next CEO will be charged with continuing the legacy of Revity Credit Union while leading them into the future and setting the stage for continued growth.
