LOWELL, Mass. – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union has launched a Hometown Hero campaign that is offering community members the opportunity to nominate someone they know who goes above and beyond in their community.
The credit union said it will choose four winners from all nominations to be named Hometown Heroes, and each will receive a $250 cash prize.
The Hometown Hero campaign kicked off as part of Jeanne D’Arc’s Credit Union’s “Small Act That Gives Back” and will run through May 25th. All community members can visit any branch or the Credit Union’s website LoveJDCU.com to fill out the nomination form. The nominator is required to provide the reasons why his or her nomination deserves to be a “Hometown Hero.”
The credit union said the Hometown Heroes will be chosen on May 4, May 11, May 18, and May 25.
“Our Hometown Hero campaign gives community members the chance to recognize an individual who has made a big impact in their lives or on the community at large,” said President and CEO Mark S. Cochran in a statement. “We know there are so many people in our community that deserve to be rewarded for spreading kindness, love and acceptance throughout our community.”
