Jack Henry Announces Management Changes

David Foss

MONETT, Mo. –– Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. has put into effect changes in its top management that it had announced in January of this year.

The company has named David Foss as president/CEO (he was previously president), and said that the incumbent CEO, Jack Prim, would take a new role as executive chairman. Foss has served as president of Jack Henry & Associates (JHA) since July 1, 2014.

Effective with the executive leadership transition, sales and marketing functions have been aligned under Steve Tomson, a newly appointed general manager. Tomson reports directly to Foss and oversees the combined sales and marketing responsibilities across all three JHA brands: Jack Henry Banking, Symitar, and ProfitStars, the company reported. Tomson has previously been in sales with IBM, Peerless and, most recently, for ProfitStars. During his tenure as ProfitStars’ director of sales, Tomson successfully integrated the sales groups from more than 15 acquired companies into one highly effective team at JHA.

“I, like many others at JHA, have enjoyed working with Steve for years,” said Foss. “His energy, perspective and focus are authentic and a proven asset to our organization. His reputation as a supportive leader will be a strategic advantage and will make marketing and sales even more effective, as he truly understands and values the role each plays in driving new business.”
