SAINT JOSEPH, Mich.–Two Michigan credit unions are combining to make a $200,000 donation to the YMCA of Greater Michiana.
The $3.92-billion United FCU and the $1.67-billion Honor Credit Union said there are combining to provide the funds to the YMCA’s $4.4 million “Another Century of Service” campaign.
That campaign is designed to upgrade the YMCA facility in St. Joseph, Mich. It has raised $1.7-million to date.
A spokesperson told local media the credit unions approached the YMCA about the donation.
The Y hopes to break ground by autumn.
