WASHINGTON–As International Credit Union Week wraps up today, numerous credit unions around the world are concluding a variety of related celebrations and events.
Among them is Democracy Federal Credit Union, where each day this week employees have been talking with members about the different credit union principles that represent the 2016 ICU Week theme, “The Authentic Difference.”
“Each day Democracy FCU employees are dressing like that day’s selected credit union principle to engage members,” the credit union said. “Employees wore Financial Security shirts for Tuesday’s Building Financial Stability Day and Wednesday everyone had on graduation caps to celebrate Ongoing Education Day. On Thursday’s International Credit Union Day all Democracy FCU employees showed their credit union spirit by wearing green and black – Democracy FCU colors.”
