ELKHART, Ind.—Freed Field, the home football field of Penn High School here has a new name: Teachers Credit Union Freed Field.
The credit union secured naming rights to the field as part of a 12-year deal valued at $140,000 over the life of the deal.
The Penn High School Kingsmen kicked off their first game here over the weekend on the newly renamed field.
The school district said the funds from the naming rights will go towards programs like the robotics club and elementary running club.
