ST. HELENS, Ore.--InRoads Credit Union has named Nathan Cox president and CEO.
Cox succeeds Brooke Van Vleet-Pearson, who is retiring after serving in the role for nearly 11 years, the CU said.
“After a nationwide search that attracted exceptional talent, we are excited to have Nathan Cox joining InRoads Credit Union as our next CEO,” said Lea Chitwood, board chair. “With Nathan’s strong commercial background, his dedication to community, and his ability to align teams, he will further build on Van Vleet-Pearson’s legacy of success."
Cox said he is "honored" to join the team at the CU.
“They have done a great job building the InRoads brand and I am excited to play a pivotal role in guiding them into the future as we grow the organization,” he said.
Cox has over 35 years of business and professional experience, primarily in the financial services industry. He held senior management positions for over 15 years, most recently as the senior VP/CLO at Travis Credit Union in Vacaville, Calif.
The CU said Cox has extensive non-profit board experience and currently serves as a board member and chairs the Finance Committee at the California Medicine Coalition.
Cox holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Loyola Marymount University, and an MBA in corporate finance from Golden Gate University.
The search was completed in partnership with Humanidei.
