PROVIDENCE, R.I.–Rhode Island’s credit unions are again sponsoring the state high school basketball playoffs.
Credit unions in the state are the presenting sponsor of the tournament, beginning with the divisional rounds and through the finals on March 11-12. The finals are held at the University of Rhode Island’s Tyan Center in what is known as the Rhode Island Interscholastic League Credit Union Basketball Championships.
“This represents over 30 years that the Credit Unions of Rhode Island have been the sponsor, featured under the banner of the Cooperative Credit Union Association’s (CCUA’s) consumer awareness campaign, Better Values. Better Banking,” the association said. “Both fans and players alike will see the consumer credit union brand logo everywhere throughout the two-day event.”
