In Maine, League Rolls Out Digital Ad Campaign…

WESTBROOK, Maine–Maine’s credit unions have launched a summer campaign using digital media. Using the ongoing “Own it for Life” theme, the ads tell member stories as part of the awareness campaign, which has included TV spots and videos.

The new digital ads feature members sharing how their credit unions have helped to continue to support them in their lifestyles and videos, according to the Maine CU League.

"When we contacted the members to see how they continue use their credit union, we heard these amazing stories that just had to be shared," said Debra Trautman, the league's vice president of corporate marketing, in comments first reported by the MCUL.  "With more members on their mobile phones during the summer, digital advertising is a targeted channel to tell how credit unions are there for members throughout the different phases in their lives. We strive to keep the campaign fresh during different times of the year and targeted to what resonates with Maine consumers."

The summer-long campaign will use Google, Pandora, and other social media to illustrate how convenience and local service can make life easier and how flexible terms in lending can help accomplish a dream.
