Illinois Educators Credit Union Names New CEO

Jody Dabrowski

SPRINGFIELD, Ill.—The $50-million Illinois Educators Credit Union has named a new CEO. Jody Dabrowski has been named to succeed Gene Taylor, who is retiring, in the position. She will officially begin Oct. 5.

Dabrowski was previously AVP-risk management with the $700-million Community Choice CU in Farmington Hills, Mich., and has also held positions with the Michigan league.

Taylor has been with Illinois Educators for 38 years.

“We are elated and privileged to have Jody take on the role of president/CEO,” said John Meyer, chair of the IECU board of directors.  “Jody has extensive operations and financial management experience and is just the individual to lead us on our continuing journey of growth and development.”

IECU has just over 7,000 members.
