WOODBURY, Minn.–Ideal Credit Union has brought back its popular $1,000 Holiday Debit Card Giveaway.
During a four-week promotion, which it has run since 2012, it holds four weekly random drawings for $1,000 for members who have an Ideal CU personal checking and who use their Ideal CU Debit Mastercard or My Rewards Gold or Platinum Debit Card for purchases. Members earn 100 bonus entries into the weekly drawing when they make 25 or more purchases a week.
The $1,000 Holiday Debit Card Giveaway is running through Dec. 18. It has awarded $24,000 to date as part of the promotion.
“Our annual Holiday Debit Card Giveaway is an exciting way to reward members for using their Ideal CU Debit Mastercard, especially during the busy shopping season when convenience and access are so important,” said Brian Sherrick, Ideal CU president/CEO.
The credit unions said the annual holiday giveaway is just one of the ways it rewards members for using their debit card. Throughout 2018, Ideal has been giving away $1,000 a month to one lucky winner in its “Use & Win” Debit Card Giveaway. To-date, 22 winners have been chosen at random to receive the $1,000 monthly prize since this monthly member giveaway began in January of 2017. The credit union said it will continue the monthly $1,000 Use & Win promotion in 2019.
