WOODBURY, Minn.–Ideal Credit Union has again launched its $1,000 Holiday Debit Card Giveaway aimed at boosting usage of its cards.
Ideal Credit Union has held the yearly holiday promotion since 2012 and has given away $32,000 to 32 members to date. To qualify, members with an Ideal CU personal checking account simply use their debit Mastercard or My Rewards Gold or Platinum debit card for purchases and earn a chance to win one four weekly $1,000 random drawings. Members earn 100 bonus entries into the weekly drawing by opting in to Ideal CU’s text messaging.
The $1,000 Holiday Debit Card Giveaway runs through Dec. 22.
“Our yearly Holiday Debit Card Giveaway is a fun and exciting way to reward members for using their Ideal CU Debit Mastercard for every day purchases, especially during the busy holiday shopping season, when convenience and access are so important,” said Brian Sherrick, Ideal CU president/CEO.
The credit union said previous winners have used the unexpected cash to pay bills, buy holiday gifts, pay tuition or take a long overdue vacation.
Throughout 2020, Ideal CU has also been giving away $1,000 a month to one winner in its “Use & Win” debit card giveaway. To-date, Ideal CU said has given away $45,000 to 45 winners chosen at random since this exciting member giveaway began in January of 2017.
Ideal plans to continue the monthly $1,000 Use & Win promotion in 2021.
