Hurricane Forces Navy Fed To Relocate Branch To Hotel

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla.–Navy Federal Credit Union has been forced to open a branch inside a hotel here.

Damage from Hurricane Michael to one of its branches in the Florida panhandle has led Navy FCU to open up a branch inside the La Quinta Inn & Suites off Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach.

In a statement to members, Navy Federal said, “We’re committed to supporting you during this very challenging time and to providing a temporary branch as long as the branch on base is closed. To provide a comfortable space for you to do your banking, we’ve moved our temporary branch inside the La Quinta Inn & Suites.”

Navy FCU said it has ATMs on-site for cash withdrawals, and it can also assist with mobile check deposits.
