LAKE JACKSON, Texas—Texas Dow Employee Credit Union is teaming up with the Elements of Money program to offer high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to win financial scholarships in the sixth annual Tweet for College Scholarship challenge.
Students can enter the contest by visiting Twitter and signing up, if they don’t already have an account. Students then tweet at @elementsofmoney with a response to this question: How can a credit union help you plan for a zombie apocalypse (or other future events)?
One $250 scholarship will be awarded every two weeks through March 10. Each winning tweet will then be entered for the chance to win a $1,000 scholarship that will be announced via the @elementsofmoney Twitter feed on March 16.
