MADISON, Wis.—The World Council of Credit Unions will host a webinar titled, “How Central and Eastern European Credit Unions are Supporting Ukraine” on Jan. 10. The webinar will begin at 8:30 a.m. ET.
“The Russian war in Ukraine has shown just how important it is for the world’s credit union movements to work together for a common good. This is especially true right now in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries bordering Ukraine,” WOCCU said. “Join World Council of Credit Unions and the Regional Credit Union Center (RCUC) for Central and Eastern Europe for an update on how national credit union associations and their member credit unions in the region have been able to help, and what their plans are for the future—both during the war and in the post-war reconstruction.”
The Presenters
WOCCU said the virtual event will feature presentations from:
- Rafal Matusiak, President, National Association of Co-operative Savings and Credit Unions (NACSCU), Poland
- Ivan Vyshnevskiy – Deputy Chief of Party, USAID/WOCCU Credit for Agriculture Producers (CAP) Project in Ukraine
