HOUSTON–Houston Texas Firefighters FCU has named a new president and CEO.
The $329-million HTFFCU has named Pamela McIver to lead the organization. McIver replaces Steve Gilman, who is retiring in December after serving six years as president/CEO.
McIver has more than 28 years of financial institution experience, having started her career at HTFFCU in 1993 as a staff accountant and then moving up through the organization to vice president – chief financial officer, her most recent position prior to being named CEO.
“I am thankful for the opportunity to serve as the next CEO of Houston Texas Fire Fighters Federal Credit Union,” McIver said. “Our team will continue its efforts to provide competitive products and services that meet the financial needs of the fearless Houston firefighters and their families.”
McIver received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Alcorn State University and an MBA from the University of Houston.
