WESTMINSTER, Colo.–-Horizons North Credit Union has named a new president and CEO.
The $117-million Horizon North said it has selected Brian Resch to lead the organization, succeeding the retiring Bradley H. Harvey. Resch will officially move into the role May 15.
The credit union said Resch has a rich background in financial services and “excels as a credit union leader with deep ties to the community.”
Career Began as Intern
According to Horizons North, after interning at a credit union over one summer in college, Resch developed a strong passion for credit unions and the "people helping people" philosophy. He moved from Pennsylvania over 25 years ago to join the Colorado credit union movement.
Resch most recently served as EVP of consumer banking at Premier Members Credit Union where he implemented key strategies for members across all delivery channels and also led the consumer lending and mortgage teams.
Additional CU Experience
Prior to his time at Premier Members, Resch served as CEO at Coors Credit Union (now OnTap) and Credit Union of the Rockies “cultivating strong community relationships and innovative products and processes at each one.”
Shanley Search Partners handled the search, and reported it received more than100 applicants.
